What I want this blog to be.
Hi, this is the first post on my personal blog (Eventually, I might get round to my ambition of blogging about sciencey stuff on my main website). I wanted to write a short post to introduce myself, who I am and what I want to write about. I’m Sammie (she/her), I’m trans, Queer, and a Christian. I think Christian faith can and should be LGBTQIA+ affirming. I’ve spent a lot of time exploring the intersection of my faith and queerness. As I’ve been going along I wanted to create a space where I can share these thoughts and research with others; that’s where this blog comes in :). I want to post about my experience coming to terms with my gender identity within evangelical christianity, as well as some of the theology that supports queerness in the Church. It also might contain some random thoughts that are on my brain that I want to share. ...
